Welcome

Hello and welcome to my website! I'm Mark, a fourth year electrical engineering undergraduate at the University of Dayton and RF Design Engineer (Co-op) at Motorola Solutions. My special interests include analog circuit design, nanofabrication, radio frequency engineering, semiconductors, and solid-state physics. I am a member of Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) - the electrical and computer engineering honor society of the IEEE and Tau Beta Pi (TBP) - national engineering honor society.

Now that you know a little bit about me, why am I here? Well, my intent is to provide you with a unique perspective in the field of electrical engineering. It is my hope to inspire young students to purse degrees in electrical engineering through exposure into what actually goes on "behind the scenes" of an electrical engineer's daily life.

As engineers, we strive to understand the "hows" and "whys" of our natural world. Remarkably, I hear similar questions being asked within the engineering undergraduate community concerning the nature of our engineering degrees and questions like "what does it means to be an engineer?" I'm seeking to at least clear up some of the ambiguity in this matter and hopefully shed some light into the many reasons why engineering is one of the most important, if not the most important, fields of study in our society today.
